Envelopes Inside and Out;
New Technology, Design, and Evaluation

Friday, March 16, 2018

Northwest Natural Gas Building, Downtown Portland
NW Natural, 220 NW 2nd Avenue, Portland, Oregon 97209

Please join us for a discussion on innovative building envelope technology as it applies to energy efficiency!  We’ll take a look at this exceedingly complex building system that often overlooked and under optimized. So what’s new? How have the latest materials and systems affected life-cycle costs? How have new technologies influenced design? What are the roadblocks and limitations to super insulating all buildings moving forward?  And what are the options for evaluating and improving performance of existing building envelopes? Finally, we’ll discuss utility programs available to incentivize high performance building envelope execution.
